good news: have found a place in town where i can buy a 1.75 litre bottle of bombay sapphire for $46.30. wah! fun times ahead. i make a point of buying it very early on in the pay period so that if things get bad and i'm poor and destitute and starving at least i can drown my sorrows in gin. ah, the priorities.

was most excited to see in 'the age' that a one-eyed kangaroo saved the life of a farmer. v exciting. i forwarded it to a bunch of american friends just to confirm all their suspicions about australia. hehehe.

oh, also, i have an eyepatch. it's black. i got it at carl's pharmacy for $2. it really does look quite fetching on me. actually, i bought it because one of my contact lenses tore and if you're only wearing one lense it's actually a lot easier to see with just the one good eye rather than be lopsided. i'm very excited about piracy at the moment. again.
