very sad about the election here. i feel very discouraged. i think i had overestimated the intelligence of the average person. so disheartening. i almost cried. stephen says he's never voting again. dark days ahead. i suppose there are still some options but nothing very realistic.

my disappointment has manifested itself in physical illness. expulsion of phlegm and blood. not so much fun. apart from that, though, i feel super.
