Hey, you know the Battle of Maldon was on the same day as Stephen's birthday? Yes.

Stephen went to work today and I stayed home with the cat. We had a nap on the sofa for the better part of the day. Heh. You know, when you're taking a nap with someone else it doesn't feel as though you're being a total bum, you're participating in an activity with someone else. Anyway, we had a nice time and then I got up and went out for orange juice and ziploc bags and cat litter and limes. The afternoon was spent cleaning stuff.

For dinner we had red curry sweet potato and carrot soup. We also had tofu and veggie rice paper rolls. Mmm. I have become quite keen on making rice paper rolls. Deelish.

Turns out that Bitsy is a fetcher. If we throw her toys across the room she will bring them back to us so that we can throw them again. Stephen says that he wanted a dog anyway. Hooray.
