have just started reading 'white noise' by don delillo. it's very funny.

spent an entire eight hours today moving books around. am now extremely familiar with the travel and forgeign language section of the bookshop. also science fiction. extremely familiar.

had excellent wine, cheese, bread and butter for dinner at rustique this evening. very enjoyable.

am tired and grouchy but don't want to go to bed yet. perhaps some warm milk.

the ludicrous plague of valentines decorations and propaganda is making me particularly humbuggish at the moment. grr. have big plans to dress entirely in black and bare my teeth at anyone who speaks to me on that particular day. hmph.

don't wanna go to bed. maybe i'll just kip here on the couch for the night. sounds like a good plan. pff.
