snow today. very exciting. snow is very pretty to sit inside and look at but not much fun to walk around in. hmm. it's crunchy when you walk in it, though. very novel.

have yet to go skiiing. i've been here for over a month, you know, and i've done no snow related activites. sigh. all i've done is work. 14 shifts a week is not as much fun as one might imagine. i did quit ute city today, though. that was nice. such a relief. i turned up to work there last night, clocked on and then they told me that there was someone else there to do my job that evening. nice. very professional. so i called them this afternoon and told them i wasn't coming in tonight or any time after that. i wasn't even sure who i was supposed to inform since there's no manager there now and the guy that hired me quit last week. like rats off a sinking ship, i tell you. actually, it's a big relief not to have to go there in the evenings. now i can just come home and relax before going out again to work. yay.

have turned a corner and have started eating fish again. i've been having cravings and there's too much good japanese food here for me not to eat it. i don't feel bad about the fish. i draw the line at squid, though. squid are as smart as dogs. they rock and i won't eat them. but goddamn, the yellow fin sashimi i had last night was fabulous. rah, baby. rah. just try to stop me. hehehe.

got myself a long black down jacket from kenneth cole today: fetching, warm and half price. oh yeah. i love it. i am fond of my mont parka but wa sick of looking like a human hand grenade all the time. bleugh. besides, a long jacket is so much cosier. i'm sure you can see it somewhere at kennethcole.com. huh.
