oh, yes, harry potter. well, it was fine. we sold about 100 copies in 40 minutes. there were adults there using their kids as decoys. that's a bit sad, really. someone has to tell these people that it's ok to buy kids' books. in fact, i usually prefer kids books. though i am very excited to have an advanced reading copy of chuck palahniuk's new book, 'diary'. ooh hoo hoo. now i just have to find the time to sit down and read. actualy, i could be reading it right now. i'm at work, but on lunch, and i'm filling in time waiting for my "tuna" sandwich to arrive. i think it's really tofu. or tempeh. or some evil-sounding but ethically ok replacement foodstuff.

oh, right, harry potter. well, we ordered in 350 copies and they were all sold before the week was out. sigh. i'm not going to read it. i had a peak - harry's turned into a complete snotbag (ie a teenager) and isn't very nice to read about. also, i checked to see who dies and now i know and i can tell you if you want to know. if you do want to know, though, it probably means that you also want to read the rest of the book and won't appreciate me letting the cat out of the bag. nevermind.

ah! the sandwich has arrived. gotta go.

also, the other day i saw a snake and a racoon and a skunk. not together, though.
