i saw the sun today. this was very exciting. also, i saw that the moutains here actually exist. the weather has been very grim recently: grey, grey and snowy grey. today it got up to 2 degrees celsius or so and it felt mild. ooh.

here's something funny for those not involved: there were two car accidents in LA today. cumulatively, they involved about 190 vehicles. yeah, pretty wow. the pictures on the news were very exciting. also very funny, though, of course, not for those involved. proof that everything is bigger and better in america, i guess. that should silence all you doubting thomas'.

there's an election tomorrow. the tv is filthy with sensational political ads. seen 'wag the dog'? just like that. it's fairly hideous... but i want a better america for my kids to grow up in and that's why i'm voting 'no' on amendment 30. bleugh.

i had donuts for breakfast today. donuts and dripolator coffee. i'm discovering my roots, apparently. though, between the donuts and the halloween leftovers i'll be looking like a local in no time. yeah.

hear a few of you are suffering spring racing carnival fever. i hear it feels much like a very bad hangover. well, you know who's fault that is. huh. fran got a bad draw in the office sweep so, please everyone, try to send her horse fast thoughts. she stands to make $162 and the catman is a very high maintenance boyfriend. go horsie!
