it's snowing.

thanksgiving is next week and you can buy a whole turkey at the local supermarket for $4. not bad. of course i won't be getting one but it's a good deal. there are some wild geese around here - if i could catch one of them i think i could eat it. yes, certainly.

everyone here is very nice. very friendly. columbine high school is near here. my uncle stan worked with a guy who killed his girlfriend and another guy. i understand now why they all say, 'this sort of thing just doesn't happen here.' actually, it does.

also, in the aspen news recently: a guy out hunting shot someone's horse, thinking it was a deer. it was a white horse. it had a 12 year old girl on its back. an honest mistake, i guess, since a girl on a white horse and a deer look so similar. stupid girl. what was she thinking?

did i mention that i have furry boots?
