A spring in my step

I bought a pair of black and neon red New Balance trainers last night. I wore them this morning and bounced all the way to the subway. Marvellous. I am looking forward to the walk home this evening. They make me happy.

Oh, and happy Australia Day, cats and kittens. Today I remembered that lamingtons exist. I have dug up a couple of receipes and will attempt to make some. Probably this weekend. Perhaps a tea party is in order... oh boy!
