we have a tree! we have a tree! a real (once) live tree. it's got lights on it and candy canes and hershey's kisses hanging on the branches. and now there are even presents underneath. so exciting.

i saw our super squirrel yesterday. he was knocking snow off the fence outside our window and leaping through the trees. aaaaw.

at least the weather here is condusive to the consumption of egg nog and gingerbread and roast meats. hmm. well, no roast meats for me but they're all the other things. mmm. yes, because i need to eat more junk. hmm.

according to cnn there are only two countries in the world: the usa and iraq. no wonder americans think they're the centre of the universe - they keep telling each other so. quite depressing. have been having trouble getting any real idea of what's going on in other parts of the world. bleugh. oh well.
