Have finished Dracula: very satisfying. I have an enormous pile of things to read but I have to ignore it in favour of The Icarus Girl, which I'm reading for my book group (United Book Front) this month. Hmm.

I am resolved to buy furniture for the apartment. I have decided that the place must be absolutely furnished and snug before Winter arrives. I have all the time between Christmas and New Year off from work and refuse to hole myself up in a box of old crap. I shall be holed up in a box of shiny new crap. Ah, bliss...
