The boots I fell in love with but failed to purchase last Winter turned up in an outlet store in Illinois and - a miracle! - friend Jennifer happened to be there on a work trip and snatched them for me. Bless her little heart! Flat, pointy toed, knee high, black with cream lining that you see when you fold the top cuffs down: they are very fine boots. I think my month has been made.
