Give me fish tacos or give me death

Tonight we are going to have dinner at one of our favourite places: Florencia 13. It's in Greenwich Village. We found it by accident one happy evening. Amazingly, it's hard to find really good Mexican food in NYC. There are a bunch of very traditional places but since Stephen is from Albuquerque what we're really looking for is New Mexican food. This is much harder to come by here. Florencia 13 serves southern Californian Mexican food, which is similar - generally lighter than the traditional stuff. More fresh vegetables. More fish. They have the best fish tacos ever.

Less appetizing if the fact that Florencia 13 is also an LA gang. Oh, Google, sometimes we don't really want to know...
